How to create folders and upload files
You can upload documents in any format.
HOW DO I UPLOAD A FILE OR create A FILE FOLDER?
You can upload individual files or create a folder to group your files.
- To upload an individual file, click on the “Upload here” option on the Action” dropdown to upload the file.
- To create a file folder, click on the “Create folder” option on the “Action” dropdown, then upload your files.
UPLOAD FILE
You can drag and drop files, or you can use the browser to upload. Once you are done uploading the files, click on the “Done” button to save the uploads.
All created files are displayed on the “File Manager” main page. Each file has a dropdown under the “Action” button and, you can carry out the following:
- Download: you can download the file
- Delete: remove the file by completely removing it from the system.
- Choose to grant or set access by:
- Set access by group
- Set access by chapter
- Set access by tag
- Set access by users(s)
- Set access for all members
- You can also clear access rights (this will make the files accessible to all association members).
You can also filter your search by searching using the file name to retrieve the folder.
CREATE FOLDER
A pop-up will appear where you have to add the new folder’s name, click on the “Create folder” button to create the folder.
By clicking on the “Create” button, you will land on the upload page, where you can upload the folder files. You can drag and drop files, or you can use the browser to upload.
Once you are done uploading the files, click on the “Done” button to save the uploads.
All created file folders are displayed on the “File Manager” main page. Each folder has a dropdown under the “Action” button. Per each file folder, you can carry out the following:
- Upload here: you can upload files from the main folder page.
- Open: open the folder and see the files uploaded in the folder. On the folder file page, you can cry out the following:
- Download: download the file
- Delete: delete the file
- Choose to grant or set file access by:
- Set access by group
- Set access by chapter
- Set access by tag
- Set access by users(s)
- Set access for all members
- You can also clear access rights (this will make the files accessible to all association members).
- Delete: remove the folder by completely removing it from the system.
